Notably, he set a personal record for purses earned, raking in almost $12.5 million, and secured over 600 victories for the third consecutive year, a feat unprecedented in his career.
One of the standout moments for Bartlett was claiming the prestigious MGM Yonkers Trot for the first time, among his 454 wins at Yonkers Raceway. His success extended beyond Yonkers, as he triumphed in the Bob Miecuna Invitational Trot and clinched three New York Sire Stakes championships on a single day. Bartlett’s versatility shone through when he became the first driver to secure the Joe Gerrity Jr. Memorial twice in the event’s 15-year history and also clinched his first Matron Stakes victory.
Bartlett’s prowess on the Grand Circuit was evident with 14 wins, ranking him among the top drivers in North America. In addition to his dominance at Yonkers, Bartlett showcased his skills at The Meadowlands and Mohegan Pennsylvania’s Pocono Downs, finishing impressively in both standings.
